ISU Speed Skating World Cup 6 2025

The international skating season closes with the World Cup final in Heerenveen, where the best skaters will compete for the title, including Spain’s Luisa María González Salazar and Nil Llop Izquierdo.

The final of the Skating World Cup 2025 will feature outstanding skaters, including Spaniards Luisa María González Salazar (21 years old) and Nil Llop Izquierdo (22 years old). They will compete for the season’s title in the Sprint-Allround categories, aiming to improve their standings among the best skaters in Europe.

In 2024, Llop Izquierdo secured eighth place in the 500 meters and 16th in the 1000 meters in Heerenveen. Meanwhile, González Salazar finished 16th in the 500 meters and 19th in the 1000 meters.

The Thialf Stadium, known for being one of the premier venues for long and short track speed skating, as well as ice hockey and figure skating, will host this competition.
