The top tennis players in the world will gather in Rotterdam for the season’s first major tournament, featuring a significant Spanish presence.
The 2025 edition of the ABN AMRO Open, scheduled from February 3 to 9, marks the beginning of the ATP 500 season. It will feature tennis greats such as Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, and Alex de Minaur.
Spain will be well represented in the tournament with three players: Carlos Alcaraz, Roberto Bautista, and Pedro Martinez. This positions Spain as the second country with the most participants, tied with the Netherlands and only behind Italy, which has four players competing.
Fans can follow the tournament on Tennis TV. Matches will take place from Monday to Friday at 11:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. On Saturdays, they will start at 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The finals are set for Sunday, February 9, with the doubles finals at 1:00 p.m. and the singles finals at 3:30 p.m.
The tournament offers a total prize money of €2,401,550, with a financial commitment of €2,563,150. The champion will receive €449,160 and 500 ATP points.
The ABN AMRO Open is one of the most prestigious events on the ATP 500 circuit and has served as a springboard for players who later reached the top of world tennis. Since its inception in 1974, it has featured renowned champions such as Roger Federer, Andy Murray, and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga. Its indoor hard court surface makes it an ideal venue for players with fast and aggressive playing styles.
Update: Carlos Alcaraz, after defeating Spain's Pedro Martinez in the semifinal and Australia's Alex de Miñaur in the final, has been crowned champion, earning 500 points for his ranking.
