International Film Festival Rotterdam
In addition to its film selection, the International Film Festival Rotterdam(IFFR) is characterized by its extensive programming of independent, innovative and experimental cinema, as well as exhibitions of contemporary art, video and new media. IFFR is a key exchange forum for discovering new talent and providing a space for world and international premieres. The official competition, known as the Tiger Awards Competition, is one of the main sections highlighting the evolution of independent production.
During the 12-day festival, the work of hundreds of directors and artists will be presented to an audience of 280,000 moviegoers and some 3,000 professionals at the main venues in the center of Rotterdam.
