Ramón Trigo: Scientia 3,14

Spanish multidisciplinary artist Ramón Trigo presents an exhibition that explores the relationship between art and science through paintings and sculptures inspired by immersive experiences in diverse environments.
Through 36 mixed media works, the exhibition explores the intersection of art and science, inviting visitors to reflect on how these seemingly distant disciplines can enrich one another.
Ramón Trigo, born in Vigo in 1965, is an artist with a diverse career that includes painting, sculpture, illustration, and writing. His experimental approach draws inspiration from immersive experiences, often in unconventional environments like shipyards and abandoned factories. This allows him to create artworks that engage in dialogue with their surroundings.
Trigo’s work has been exhibited in various countries, including Spain, Portugal, Germany, Italy, and Nigeria. He has received several international awards, including the Lazarillo National Prize for Illustrated Albums.
The exhibition SCIENTIA, curated by Silvia Amarelo, features Trigo’s works created between 2023 and 2025 from his private collection. Through his art, Trigo invites viewers to explore the intertwining of art and science, merging artistic creativity with scientific experimentation.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on March 14, 2025 at 18:00. Free, RSVP required.
